The photos are of a seemingly normal house with a huge marijuana grow operation hidden in a cave beneath the house. University of Mississippi, Federally Funded Marijuana Farm

Did you know that since 1968 the United States has has a federally funded medical marijuana farm and production facility? The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) contracts with the university the production of the cannabis for the use in approved research studies. NIDA also manages the distribution of cannabis to the seven surviving medical patients grandfathered into the Compassionate Investigational New Drug program (established in 1978 and canceled in 1991).
Numerous types and strains of marijuana are grown in [the University's] large indoor facility. The pot is grown, harvested, dried and broken up, at which point it is used to fill cigarettes or joints, which are distributed to the patients…The federal government, as it has ruthlessly at times gone after dispensaries that are legally operated under state law, has had, all of this time, millions and millions of dollars’ worth of marijuana growing and stored at the University of Old [sic] Miss’.

Dense buds slightly orangish tan in color glistening with frosty trichomes.

Faint yet distinguishable sweet smell of tangerine. No skunky marijuana like smell from this strain!

After inhaling my first hit I noticed my mouth watering, wanting more Tangeringe Haze! The taste dosnt stick to your mouth but leaves a clear refreshing feeling like a breath mint.

Strong medicinal effects felt throughout the body and mind. Very quick onset. Versatile high, could be used throughout the day or night.

Very exotic strain with quality medicinal effects. Fun smell and taste make this a real crowd pleaser and a hard to turn down buy.
Additional Information
The G-13 Haze x new York City Diesel is one of several G-13 crosses that Soma has developed from his signature strains. This pleasure pot has an exotic combination that evokes the aroma of old-school Thai-stick and the red grapefruit taste of the NYC Diesel.
This strain is an indoor plant in most locales, and is only suitable outdoors in tropical settings. The G-13 Haze x NYC Diesel is happy in soil or a hydroponics setup, as long as it is allowed to branch out. It does especially well when super-cropped, producing plump, fairly dense flowers at close internodes. The main stalk is very strong and sturdy. Until the last three weeks, this plant stays green, but in the last phases of flowering, it may acquire a lavender hue on the bud and foliage.
The high from G-13 haze x NYC Diesel is truly joyous. Its mood elevating qualities often creep up, shifting perspective to clear, light and happy thoughs. It encourages a sense of connectedness and may send the smoker on a hugging binge, or at least a sweet and gentle attitude toward friends and the world at large. Best indulged when one’s environmentsupports a loving demeanor, this strain is also potentially helpful for depression. The smell and taste have retained grapefruit tones from the Diesel, but the uniquely Haze aroma comes through in the smoke. Marijuana Butter, Cannabis Butter

There are two basic ways to beak down the plant for cooking. One is to make flour out of the leaves. The other is to make butter from the marijuana leaf.
Basic Information
- Recommended Dosage: 4 oz. of leaf for every 1 lb. of butter.
- Preparation Time: 5 minutes
- Cooking Time: 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours
Steps:
- Combine the butter and marijuana leaf in a large stockpot.
- Add enough water to cover the leaf by a couple of inches.
- Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, to melt the butter.
- Lower heat and simmer uncovered for 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Pour through a mesh strainer or cheesecloth and press the remaining liquid from the marijuana.
- Transfer liquid to a container, cover, and refrigerate for 24 hours before use.
Double Chocolate Chip Cannabis Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 2/3 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup (packed Dark brown sugar)
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup or 8 oz green butter
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 10 oz chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
- In a medium bowl whisk together: Flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. Set bowl aside.
- In a large bowl or a Kitchen Aide, blend together cannabis butter and sugars at a medium speed until a grainy paste is formed. Scrape down the sides of the bowls before adding eggs and vanilla extract. Continue to mix until texture is light and fluffy.
- Add the previously set aside dry ingredients and blend JUST until mixed. Add chocolate chips and incorporate. Important to not over-mix at this point.
- Using a scoop or two spoons drop 1-2 tablespoon sized dough balls onto a cookie sheet. Parchment paper is recommended however, a quick spray of nonstick spray would work fine too.
- Bake 19-21 minutes. Immediately transfer cookies to a cooling rack with a spatula.
- Enjoy.

“Heads up, body up”
Looks: 8.5
Vibrant light green, covered in glistening trichomes, with dark peach hairs.
Smell: 9.0
The smell is overwhelming, this is the reason I came home with this strain, the smell attacked my nostrols and I was sold. A strong sub tropical pine, with a hint of citrus.
Taste: 8.0
Smooth and sharp, best enjoyed through a water filter, it can hit your throat pretty hard.
High: 9.0
A fast strong head throbbing come up, it hits you hard but doesn’t knock you over. The high is actually very elated and non-drowsy great for mornings and afternoons. A superb high, I love this pot! This particular strain is very medicinal with great results for headaches, migraines and joint pain. The heavy Sativa content can definitely raise blood pressure and heart rate, so not the best for a wind down end of day session.
Value: 9.5
Excellent quality at the standard price, no fees 
. Good Trainwreck is a beautiful thing. It has thrived and been mastered in Humboldt County for 12-14 years.

“Heads down, body down”
Looks: 8.0
Dense green buds packed with frosty trichomes. Poor manicure, but still really catches your eye.
Smell: 8.0
Strong and pungent floral odor with a hint of fruit. Has a unique smell unlike other purple strains I have sampled in the past.
Taste: 7.0
Thick, heavy smoke. Has a faint purple taste to it. I was hoping that it would taste as good as it smelled, but not all books can be judged by their cover.
High: 7.5
Slowly creeps up on you. Gives a mild head buzz and slight relaxation to your body. Could be good for the mornings as well as being smoked throughout the day. This marijuana strain didn’t seem to get me too stoned. Surprisingly mild for a heavy Indica strain. Does not offer too much pain relief. But does calm you down, could be good for anxiety relief.
Value: 7.0
This strain possesses good medicinal properties, however it didn’t grab my attention too much. This strain gives a decent mellow stone that relaxed me for a few minutes after inhalation. Where it lost the “WOW factor” was mainly in taste, since it didn’t near live up to the smell that it produced.
