“Happy Stupefier, daytime appropriate”
Looks: 7.5
Dense light green buds covered in trichomes.
Smell: 7.5
Very unique smell. Has a piercing fragrant scent of lemon and pine.
Taste: 7
Kind of lacking in taste, slightly sour. Smooth on small hits but you can defiantly feel its potency on larger rips..
High: 8
Heavy onset. Clear high in smaller quantities. If smoked in large quantities this OG Kush marijuana strain is evening appropriate and will leave you couch locked.
Value: 8
OG Kush was a decent strain. It accomplished it job of sedating. For the all the hype ive heard about this strain, I felt it didnt live up to its reputation.

Just got some of this and I’m a fan. One thing I’ve noticed is that it has a small delay on the effects when smoked out of my double perc. Good high but not much smell with mine. One large hit left my girl couchlocked!

My boy gets all kinds of different kush and diesel but the most recent O.G kush strain was insane…all it takes is a solid blunt or joint and i’m couchlocked for the rest of the day. I wasnt disappointed at all i felt it lived up to the hype.

OG kush is always a goodie. I am usually a strong indica fan but the og always makes me happy. It keeps me focused but gives me the lift I’m looking for.

The review is very accurate. In another writer/critic’s words-My first sense of smell was a ” Very pungent pine-soil like” smell taste was a ” strong chemical like taste” and my first sense of feeling after 3 small hits was “faced”.

i thought that OG kush was a mostly indica strain. everytime i smoke it i get a couchlock high which i dont get with purely sativa strains

I can’t seem to get a clear answer either Sativa or Indica. From my experience growing, it is not bushy, nor tall, and takes longer to mature. Seems more Sativia but is a mix. What percentge of what??

I was very impressed. I heard that it is rare to get large buds of OG kush. I had a nug that was 6 grams. Beautiful. Also other lushes nugs weighing between 3 and 4 grams. Let me know. Super dank strain. King of the Indicas.

The O.G. Kush is a strain that has many different phenotypes. I’ve smoked several. 1. San Fernando Valley OG 2. Fire OG(Rascals) 3. Platinum OG.
Right now I have Fire OG growing. It is one of the most impressive plants I’ve ever seen. Huge, beastly, multi colored, fast growing. All the things you thought OG couldn’t do. FIRE can do it!
OG Kush is an Indica dominant hybrid. I think 80/20.
Certain people say the genetics are Sour Diesel x Chem Dawg but I don’t know about that one.

There is one version of OG Kush that I know a lot about.
It’s a pure INDICA. Its The “Original Gangster” OG Kush.
Origins – Los Angeles Kush x San Fernando Valley Kush.
Flowering – 57-60 days
Harvest – Mid September outdoors
I’ve smoked it and it’s truly unbelievable!!

Man OG Kush genetics have nothing to do with Sour Diesel man. Quite confusing people. And yeah OG is a Sativa dominant hybrid.

There are 9 different phenotypes of OG Kush.Depending on what pheno you came across will determine high. Some of the phenos display more of the lemon thai genetics. While others display more of the Paki Kush traits.Basically Chemdog,Sour D and O. G. all share the same lineage.I’m doing some of the abusive cut right now that ROCKS!

OG Kush is Ocean Grown Kush. It is it’s own pheno & not sour D x chem D. This is just wrong

OG Kush is an Indica, I’m sure you know….. there’s a small typo at the top FYI
(you listed it as a Sativa)

Lineage? Lore? Im no exert but sour d and chemdog etc. east coast origins which is interesting. diesels are east coast ogs are west coast w slight differences.
Name: ocean grown, oscar da grouch, or og (as in socal gangsta grown, I’ve heard it all. ocean grown seems to refer to the use of heavy fish bone meal which kush’s don’t naturally get. or maybe its the socal ocean breeze…in south central? seems this shit originated in da hood.that’s where we used to get it before the whole med takeover. anyways. just some thoughts.
Effects: heady at first, due to sativa. then the kush body high kicks in. um another reason to cross a suerior kush strain w an indica is for higher yield…anyways.
Kushes are pure indica. once you cross em things change. here in socal its kinda a generic name for really good shit. like “fire”. or “skunk” back in the day. actual strains, but now just terms.
the afghan kush, hindu kush, hash plants are all examples of true kush variety indica. see sensiseeds.com (india/indica). One of the first derivatives comes from amsterdam, the dutch “master” kush. 100% indica cross of several kush varieties. then there is the bubba. not sure but def indica dom nice examole.
as far as ogs in socal. the og, og is 75% sativa, 25% sativa…..HOWEVER…it depends on the strain. some are indica dom which is more what you’d expect froma kush. IT ALL COMES DOWN TO BASIC GENETICS/BIOLOGY/GENO-PHENO,ETC. atgc all that high school stuff. clones are 75/25 s/i. but seeds, you never know. could be 75/25, 50/50, or 25/75….of course that’s basic. the math is more complicated. SO THERE YOU HAVE IT. THE TRUTH ABOUT OG KUSH. IT DEPENDS ON THE STRAIN. THANK YOU. (KushMaster/aka adamrise). studying yoga and sufism and the spiritual connection w kush plants for over 5 years. peace out.
October 15th, 2011 at 6:28 PM
correction. another reason to cross a superior kush/indica strain w a sativa is for higher yield.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:37 AM
Its a mix of Indica and Sativa. The diesel mix makes it about 80 % satvia, and the chem dog mixes in its indica at about 20 %. Very good indoor yeild with most kush, and its high is very nice and consistant.
